THE SCULPTING OF MAMALLAPURAM SCULPTORS:

There are some people who live an life in their interesting form of carvings, they love what they do ,they said that the work which they do is their identity, yes you are almost there let’s see about how a sculptor life is, 25 year old Raman owns a small scale industry of making sculptures and he shares his own life experience he says that he was into the sculpting field at the age of 12,he says that his guru is Dharna, he only thought him how to sculpt, then he learnt this from his guru and now he is having his own industry, he says that these require a lot of dedication and hard work ,because if we don’t have interest we can complete our work. our mind, body and soul should be at the same state to trigger our creative thoughts says raman, I always be in that state and start doing work because it makes my job quickly done.

At first I waited a so long time to learn I do get many punishments from my guru I too did mistakes but my guru said mistakes will make u a professional one day so follow those mistakes and take your own time he said those words are still in my mind those made me to become like this, and, I’m proud to be in government archaeologist department as design board artist, says raman, he says that it is not like that we see a sculpture and go there are many things hidden behind one sculpture and it is an artist thought which is expressed in one form of art in a sculpture.

Yes they too have a great life they are the ones who keep our traditional art forms and keep protecting for our coming future.
